What role do producers play in a project? Producers help with many of the aspects of the creative process throughout the entire journey of making a song. Producers can offer suggestions or improvements when it comes to lyrics, song structure and arrangement, chord progressions, melody, sample and beat selection, ideas in mixing, and more. As opposed to an engineer, a producer is hired more for their creative input, and help manage all aspects of the production process from start to finish. At Cape Caudio, we can wear both hats! We are happy to just be engineers on your project, but we can also add our creative flair to the process if you hire us as your producers too!
